The
PARTISAN section is the Primary
for the Republican & Democratic Parties .
No
matter which party's primary they vote in, EVERYONE
can VOTE
in
the NONPARTISAN and the PROPOSAL
sections if they appear on their ballots.
PARTISAN
OFFICES:
Note:
You may VOTE in ONLY ONE party's primary either Republican
or Democratic.
If
you attempt to vote in more than one party's primary,
your ballot will be invalidated.
In
a Primary election, voters CAN NOT “split their
ticket” for the Partisan offices.

Counties have elections. There may
be elections for partial terms for township or nonpartisan
city, village or school officials. Precinct
Delegates are on the ballot for the Republican
and Democratic parties. There may be Nonpartisan
Judicial elections. And there may be Proposals
on the ballot for your county, city or township,
community college or school district.
Your
local League
may have a voter guide for county
and local officials available on its
website. Your local league may also have held
Candidate Forums which are viewable
online or on cable.

has a Sample Ballot with your appropriate districts
for registered voters and gives your Precinct Location.
It also provides links to 5-minute MiVote videos of
candidate interviews and to Detroit Free Press candidate
surveys as well as to League of Women Voter voter guide
information.
