As a result of the passage of the “Promote the Vote” constitutional amendment in November, 2022 by Michigan voters, in-person voting and absentee ballot procedures have changed This page will be updated when the office of Michigan’s Secretary of State has implemented the new procedures.
Who is eligible to vote in Michigan?
In order to vote in Michigan you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old by election day, a resident of the city or township where you register and not serving a sentence in jail or prison.
